Data Deletion
How to remove your Holler data and connected social accounts.
Delete a connected social account
If you connected an Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube account to verify your Holler profile, you can disconnect it at any time:
- Sign in to Holler at teamholler.com.
- Open your profile page.
- Choose the connected account you want to remove and click "Disconnect".
Disconnecting removes the access token, username, follower count, and any other profile metadata Holler stored for that platform.
Revoke access from Instagram directly
You can also revoke Holler's access from your Instagram settings. When you do, Instagram notifies Holler via a server-to-server callback and we delete the associated record automatically.
- Open Instagram and go to Settings & privacy → Apps and websites.
- Find Holler in the list and tap Remove.
Delete your entire Holler account
To delete your Holler account and all associated data (profile, posts, comments, income entries, and connected accounts), email privacy@holler.community from the address you signed up with. We will confirm the request and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What we delete
- Your profile (username, bio, niche, follower count)
- All posts, comments, votes, and income entries you submitted
- All connected social account records and stored access tokens
- Authentication records (email, password hash, sessions)
Some operational logs and aggregate analytics may persist in backups for up to 90 days before being purged. Backups are encrypted and not used for any other purpose.
