YouTube Shorts revenue is finally getting real

I ignored Shorts for two years. Started posting repurposed vertical cuts 6 weeks ago. RPM is low but volume is making up for it — roughly $200 extra last month on a channel that was plateaued. Still early but sharing in case others are sleeping on it.

Brand wants approval rights over my caption — how do you handle this?

They're not asking to write the caption, just to 'review and approve' before I post. I've never agreed to this before. Feels like a creative control red flag but the deal is decent. Do you allow this?
